Tacit Publishing is a division of Autism Consulting Service, based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada which focuses on providing books that share the actual experience of individuals on the autism spectrum, not how their lives are defined by those of us on the outside.
Gail Gillingham Wylie
Founder and Principal
Once upon a time, Clayton Wylie dreamed of meeting a blue eyed blond. This dream came true when he met his sister's best friend at college. Gail and Clay married in 1996 and he has been her right hand ever since, learning more about the world of autism, than he ever dreamed possible.

As a young child, Gail dreamed of following in the shoes of Jo March, the oldest sister in Little Women, both as a writer and as a person who looked after young men who needed a mother, as Jo did in Little Men. This dream took her into the world of autism after a few years of being a foster mother. She has spent the majority of the last quarter century of her life coming to as clear an understanding of autism as possible. Tacit Publishing was created to share her journey with you.
