Tacit: unspoken. Our books focus on bringing out the unspoken messages of our world, those messages that few have taken the time to listen to or to share with others. It all started with the publication of Autism Handle with Care in 1995 and has grown from there.
Anyone who is interested in learning more about autism: individuals who are on the spectrum, parents, grandparents, siblings, extended family members, teachers, educational aides, support staff, therapists, caregivers, doctors, and other professionals.
To bring the world of those on the autism spectrum to the public by sharing what it feels like within rather than defining it from the outside.
“It was like the Berlin Wall collapsing. I felt free, I could organize my mind, and plan life strategies. She should write a book.".
Solving the Puzzle of Autism
Our goal at Tacit Publishing is to provide books which share the actual experience of autism and offer effective solutions for the challenges faced by those on the spectrum and their families.
Our dream is to provide this information in a way that you can design solutions tailored specifically to the needs of the individual in order to ensure they have the opportunity to achieve their full potential.
Lincoln Grigsby comments on what it felt like after he went through the autism clearing. Was completely nonverbal up until age 45. He began speaking after sessions on the SCIO.
